Competition Dancing
Any student who willing to put their skill to the test in a larger venue is encouraged to consider competition dancing. You can compete with your instructor or another amateur partner you have. Randy or Viktorija will develop a program to prepare you for competition with dancers at your skill level at area competition events. It will help you develop your skills beyond social dancing.
Competition events usually cover many styles of dancing from ballroom to latin, in American and International styles, and other special categories such as Hustle and Peabody. Contestants compete with other dancers in their age group and skill category from Newcomer to Championship, so no matter your age or how long you've been dancing there is always a category that can fit you.
Randy or Viktorija can help you through the process of selecting competitions, dances, recommending wardrobe and submitting the entry forms for your first competition.
You can see the schedule of competitions that Randy & Viktorija are already planning to attend. In addition The National Dance Council of America (NDCA) has a full schedule of US competitions.
