Viktorija & Randy

Randy & Viktorija Dias most recently performed with The Philadelphia Orchestra at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, in Philadelphia. Conducted by, Sarah Hicks, "a new wave of female conductors" , as noted in the New York Times.

From 2008 through 2011 Randy and Viktorija toured the US with the theater-ballroom production "Champions of the Dance". It also featured dancers from ABC's "Dancing with the Stars", Jonathan Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya, and from SYTYCD Iveta Lukosiute. The tour finished December 2011 at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, in Philadelphia. Randy and Viktorija's competitive dance career started to take off in 2006. During their first year they won 30 out of 32 rising star events. Amongst those are prestigious competitions such as EMERALD BALL, HERITAGE CLASSIC, FLORIDA SUPERSTARS, SOUTHERN STATES, TEXAS CHALLENGE and many others. They became 2006 US Rising Star American Ballroom Silver Medalists. In 2008 & 2011 they became the Eastern United States Professional Smooth Champions. In 2010, Randy and Viktorija were announced the American Ballroom winners of the Latin America World Dancesport Championships, held in Cancun, Mexico and televised in 44 Latin American Countries.

In 2007 Viktorija was featured in GEICO 's commercial Cabbage Patch Kid, that aired from 2007-2009.

As a child , at the age of 11, Viktorija participated in the All Latvian Song and Dance Festival, held in Latvia and attended by more than 30,000 people.

Randy started his dance career in 1988. A few years later in 1996, he accepted an invitation to join the Rhode Island State Ballet, where he performed as a principal dancer until 1998. That was also a year when Randy and his, then partner, became US Rising Star Champions in International Standard division.

Randy is currently a member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and National Dance Council of America.
